Modern Slavery and Human Trafficking Statement

This Modern Slavery and Human Trafficking Statement is a response to Section 54 (1), Part 6 of the Modern Slavery Act 2015 outlines the steps Unicorn Healthcare Services take to prevent modern slavery and human trafficking in our business and supply chains. We have zero-tolerance towards slavery and require our supply chain to comply with our values.

Our Organisation

Unicorn Healthcare Services is a UK-based care service provider. We operate within the United Kingdom and employ a combination of permanent staff and temporary workers.

Our Supply Chains

Our supply chain consists of UK-based service providers including PPE providers, Office supplies, IT support and facilities management. While our direct supply chain is considered low risk for modern slavery, we remain vigilant and committed to ensuring practices throughout all our operations.

Due Diligence

As part of our efforts to monitor and reduce of slavery and human trafficking occurring
in our supply chains and business we have implemented

  • Requiring suppliers to confirm compliance with the Modern Slavery Act
  • Reduce the risk of slavery and human trafficking occurring in our business and supply chain

Actions Taken

Unicorn Healthcare Service has taken the following steps to mitigate the risk of modern slavery:

  • Review and update our Modern Slavery Policy
  • Integrated modern slavery checks into our supplier onboarding process

Training

Unicorn Healthcare Services delivers regular training to relevant staff which covers

  • Recognising signs of modern slavery
  • Reporting procedures
  • Legal obligations under the Modern Slavery Act

We are committed to continually updating this training across all areas of the business to ensure comprehensive awareness and compliance.

Monitoring

  • Regularly updating our policies
  • Carrying out regular audits to ensure all our employees have the right to work in the UK
  • Identifying and addressing any areas of high risk in our supply chain
  • Providing training for all relevant staff who are involved in the supply chain
  • Reports or concerns raised through our whistleblowing and feedback procedures.

Approval

The statement was approved by the Director, November 2025 and will be reviewed
annually.
